Clean out your well.

"Clean out your well!"

I'm talking about : "The importance of the Holy Spirit."

Isaiah 12:1 And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

12:4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

12:5 Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

12:6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

Isaiah chapter 12 is a picture of the Church that has allowed the world to fill it's wells with earth. Just as Israel began to rely on other nations instead of God, much of the Church has turned to this world for it's reliance instead of the Holy Ghost!

I love praise and worship but when we magnify a song over God's Word we have lost our first love! Most people today will sing for an hour and then fall asleep fifteen minutes into the preaching of God's Word!

God was not pleased with Israel and God isn't pleased when we look to any other power to move the Church to where God wants to take us. We must be filled with the Holy Ghost!

The Holy Ghost loves the Word! The Holy Ghost loves the Truth! The Holy Ghost loves Jesus! Jesus is the Word! Jesus is the Truth! The Holy Ghost will talk about Jesus! Jesus is what we should be talking about! What we should be doing about!

If we would call off about 90% of what we are doing, and fall on our faces in Holy Ghost prayer, our answer would come! Our answer is Jesus! He will come to a house of prayer! He will come and overthrow the table of those that have settled for a den of theives!

God's comfort will come to His Church by the Holy Spirit. There is a remnant that is seeking Gods face and are crying out for His grace to come upon the Church again as it did upon those at the beginning! Verse 1 (thou comfortedst me!)

Verse 2 as we behold God! He is our salvation! Faith says: "I will trust and not be afraid!"

The LORD JEHOVAH is my strength! He's my song! He's my deliverance!

"JESUS, HIMSELF! IS MY SONG!"

"It's through those wells of salvation, that the joy and glory of God will rest upon the Church in these last days!"

We can look at a passage of scripture in the book of Genesis and see the importance of the Holy Spirit.

Genesis 26:12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

26:13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:

26:14 For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

Verse 12, We see a type of the Church that God intended for us to be!

A Church sowing in the land! Sowing the seed of the Word of God!

A Church being added to such as should be saved. Most churches today are just swapping fruits! Trying to do something that will keep them in their basket! That's not the will of God! God will never put His blessing on that.

But we see from verse 12, God blessing the Church sowing in the land!

I must know that I've been planted by the Lord! "And bloom by His grace and power there!"

Verse 13, We see this Church being strong in the Lord and in the power of His might!

The man waxed Great! This man represents the Man! I'm not talking about some man that has been elevated up to where they can no longer see Jesus! 1Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

This Man represents the Church, the Body of Christ! How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Acts 10:38

This Church will go forward, it won't compromise when it is put to the test!

This Church will grow into that glorious Church, without spot or wrinkle! Ephesians 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Verse 14, We see the true and faithful Church!

This represents the Church that Jesus said that He would build!

A Church God is building with servants empowered by the Holy Ghost to stand and do the will of God in this hour!

This Church will be envied of by this world.

Many have tried to copy the world and the world doesn't envy that!

But you let the Man Christ Jesus, be the Head of the Church, the Master builder of the Church and with a people full of the Holy Ghost with their eyes on Jesus, this world will take notice!

"The joy and glory of God will always rest upon Gods people who are obedient to Him."

This all sounds good, but how it it going to happen?

Psalm 57:1 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.

57:2 I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.

57:3 He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.

57:4 My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.

57:5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.

57:6 They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah.

57:7 My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.

57:8 Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

57:9 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations.

57:10 For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.

57:11 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth.

"Let thy glory be above all the earth!"

Let nothing in your life be above His glory!

If your well has been stopped and filled with this earth, there is a remedy. Start digging! Dig deep in God's Word, there is power in His word!

Gen 26:15 For all the wells which his father's servants had digged in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped them, and filled them with earth.

Gen 26:16 And Abimelech said unto Isaac, Go from us; for thou art much mightier than we.

Gen 26:17 And Isaac departed thence, and pitched his tent in the valley of Gerar, and dwelt there.

Gen 26:18 And Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham: and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them.

"Isaac started digging the wells of water!"

Verse 15, These were wells that his father , Abraham had digged! (The same Holy Ghost that fell on the day of Pentecost!)

The same wells! The Philistines had stopped them! Isaac had to clean them out!

We must get up every day determined that we are going to be filled with the Spirit! We must dig again the wells of water! You can be filled today!! You can be filled tomorow! That's our joy! That's our power! It don't come easy. Clean those wells out with prayer to God!

Gen 26:19 And Isaac's servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing water.

You can find "springing water" in the valley, if you'll but only dig!

Gen 26:20 And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's herdmen, saying, The water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him.

This world will try to lay claim on your water, but keep digging! But this water is for those who do hunger and thirst after righteousness!

Gen 26:21 And they digged another well, and strove for that also: and he called the name of it Sitnah.

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation! Keep digging! Clean out your wells!

Gen 26:22 And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.

Keep on digging! God makes room for those who hunger and thirst after righteousness! You shall be fruitful! Keep digging!

The Lord is about to appear! When God makes room for us, it's just a little while and then He shall appear!

Gen 26:23 And he went up from thence to Beersheba.

Gen 26:24 And the LORD appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham's sake.

God will give you a Word that no devil in hell can stop! If you will just keep cleaning out your well! Get into His Word! Jesus is a Person that you can know! We know Him by the Spirit of the "Living God!"

Gen 26:25 And he builded an altar there, and called upon the name of the LORD, and pitched his tent there: and there Isaac's servants digged a well.

When you build your altar to God and begin to call on God. When you decide to clean out the wells of water that this world has stopped, it won't be long until this world doesn't like it!

Gen 26:26 Then Abimelech went to him from Gerar, and Ahuzzath one of his friends, and Phichol the chief captain of his army.

Gen 26:27 And Isaac said unto them, Wherefore come ye to me, seeing ye hate me, and have sent me away from you?

John 15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

John 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

John 15:21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

Gen 26:28 And they said, We saw certainly that the LORD was with thee: and we said, Let there be now an oath betwixt us, even betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee;

Gen 26:29 That thou wilt do us no hurt, as we have not touched thee, and as we have done unto thee nothing but good, and have sent thee away in peace: thou art now the blessed of the LORD.

There is a visible differance between the Church and the world!

Abimelech saw the differance!

Verse 28, "We saw certainly that the Lord was with thee!"

Let us make a covenant between us that you will do us no hurt!

The Church that has its wells of water cleaned out, will be a Church that this world is afraid of!

Abimelech was saying to Isaac (whose name means to inherit the Promise!) "You be who you are and we will be who we are!"

You don't try to be who we are, and we won't try to be who you are!

What a word for the Church to come back to in this hour!

Gen 26:30 And he made them a feast, and they did eat and drink.

Gen 26:31 And they rose up betimes in the morning, and sware one to another: and Isaac sent them away, and they departed from him in peace.

Gen 26:32 And it came to pass the same day, that Isaac's servants came, and told him concerning the well which they had digged, and said unto him, We have found water.

Gen 26:33 And he called it Shebah: therefore the name of the city is Beersheba unto this day.

The same day when the Church realizes she doesn't belong to this world! The same day that the Church realizes that she belongs to God and acts like she belongs to God, is the day the Church proclaims to this world: "We have found water!"

Therefore, with joy shall ye draw out of the wells of salvation! Isaiah 12:3

The well of seven lambs offered by Abraham as a witness to the covenant between Abraham and Abimelech in Genesis 21:22-33.

"Clean out your well!"

"To be like Jesus."

Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Hebrews 1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

"His power comes out of His righteousness!"

"His anointing was upon Him because He loved righteousness and hated iniquity!"

If you will ever be anointed of God it will be when you love righteousness and hate iniquity!

You can say that you are anointed all day long, but if you don't love what Christ loves and hate what Christ hates, you will never be anointed! And you just might be saying to the Lord one day: "Didn't I cast out devils in Your name Jesus?" And Jesus says to you: "Depart from Me, you worker of iniquity, I never knew you!"

Act 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Look at how God anoints He who hates sin and loves righteousness!

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power!!!!! Why did God anoint Him?

To go about doing righteousness! That which Jesus loved__Jesus did!

"What do you love?" Are you a true believer in Christ? Do you love what Jesus loves and do you hate what Jesus hates?

Jesus received power from God because Jesus hated iniquity and he loved righteousness!

Every thing that He did was righteous! Everyone didn't like it either. But Jesus still loved righteousness and still Jesus hated iniquity!

Jesus went about doing good! Healing all that were oppressed of the devil!

There are those all around us today oppressed of the devil. God is looking for His people to love righteousness and hate sin!

Just as God was with Him, Jesus, God will be with the Believer in Christ in this hour!

1John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

1John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

1John 2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

"You won't have to spend a couple of hundred dollars to have someone train you how to be anointed of God! No!!!!!! Just love righteousness and hate sin, then go about doing good! God will be with you and God's anointing will be with you to do everything that He tells you to do." A-men! and A-men!

"Is Pentecost Being Lost?"

When God birthed the Church in the book of Acts it came in baptized in the Holy Ghost and speaking with tongues as the Spirit give it utterance!

That Church was an obedient Church! They obey God to wait until they would be endued with power from on high!

Luke 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

That Church worshiped Jesus Christ and they had great joy!

This Church wasn't Assembly of God, Baptist, Methodist, and any other of the labels we put on ourselves. It was birthed Pentecostal! Spirit filled, controlled by the Spirit of truth!

Out of the obedience of the first century Church to tarry in Jerusalem until they would be endued with power from on high, power came upon them and was infused into that Church! Why? Because they were obedient to the Word of God. they obeyed God!

Mat 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Act 5:32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

There was a hunger birthed into their heart to want to walk holy before the Lord and they knew they needed God's power to live pleasing to God!

There is no good thing in our flesh, it has never wanted to hunger and thirst after righteousness and it never will!

There has to be that desire in a human being that is created by God that says: "GOD I WANT YOU! GOD I NEED YOUR PRESENCE! I DESIRE YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS! I HUNGER AND I THIRST FOR YOUR HOLINESS IN MY LIFE!

John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

John 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

"It's all tied into our obedience to God! And our love for Jesus Christ!"

Jesus said: John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

"He filled the Church at the beginning who waited upon the Promise of the Father!"

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Acts 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

This Church was a Church that was obedient, a Church that would wait upon the Lord until, a Church that would pray, and a Church filled with power!

Power to heal!

Acts 3:1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

Acts 3:2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

Acts 3:3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

Act 3:4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

Acts 3:5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

Acts 3:7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

Acts 3:8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

Peter didn't have silver and gold! But he gave what he had! Peter had the resurrected Christ living on the inside of him by the power of the Holy Ghost!

"The Church had Holy Ghost Boldness to Preach Repentance unto salvation!"

Acts 4:8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

Acts 4:9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

Act 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

Acts 4:11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

Acts 4:14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

"The worlds only hope today is that a Holy Ghost filled Church preach repentance and remission of sins!"

"The Great Fear came upon all the church!" God was truly awesome to the Church in as much as great reverence to His presence was realized in their midst.!"

Acts 5:11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Acts 5:12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.

Acts 5:13 And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.

Acts 5:14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

Believers were added daily, both men and women!

Not tares, not numbers, but Believers were added!

We need to be filled with the Spirit every day!

Pentecost isn't being lost!

Jesus said : Upon this rock I will build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it! A-men.

I believe it!
