Matthew 3:1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
3:3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
3:4 And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
3:5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,
3:6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.
3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
3:10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
In those days came a man sent from God-"preaching."
If there is true preaching, there will be a preparing of the way for the Lord!
2Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
True preaching isn't popular is this hour. It's called a lot of different things but it is the only thing that will prepare the way for the Lord to come into the heart of the lost soul!
Paul charged Timothy to "preach the Word!" He said to Timothy, "you be prepared at all times to proclaim the Truth! When people are willing to hear it or when they refuse to hear. You preach the Word!
We must do the same. We're not out to win a popularity contest! We're not like a politician, trying to get someone to vote us as being a great preacher. We have been given a charge by God Himself to preach His Word!
If there is true preaching there will be true repentance.

THERE'S A CRAZY MAN PREACHING!
This is a message by Jeb Jennings that he gave to me and has given me permission to post. For more messages go to: Destiny Home Daily.blogspot.com
In waiting upon God, we often learn that He is the one waiting___on us. When it comes to gardening, we know that God supplies the seed and the season, but waits on you to sow the seed. In a natural and spiritual garden, nothing will be accomphished if you do not move in faith and obedience.
Luke 1:17 declares of John the Baptist: "And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord." This was literally fulfilled when John preached in the wilderness and pointed the people to Jesus, who came to be baptized in water.
Consider the background of Jesus and John the baptist. Both of their births had been supernaturally announced by an angel of the Lord and were confirmed by the prophet Isaiah. In addition to this, don't you know that once they were old enough to understand, their mothers rehearsed to them the events of their births?
As John was waiting upon God, he found his ministry outlined in Isaiah 40:3: "The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God....And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it." This is why he could declare with such assurance that Jesus was going to be revealed: "And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel" (John 1:31). John knew that the preaching of, "One mightier than I cometh," would be confirmed by the Lord coming to be revealed to fulfill what was written.
It is absolutely certain that Jesus, as the Son of Man, did nothing without first waiting on the word from his Father. This being true, Jesus was waiting on John's ministry of preparation to begin in the desert. Until John got the word from heaven to proceed, Jesus couldn't proceed! It's an amazing thought: Jesus, who was God in the flesh, was working in a carpenters shop, waiting on a man to begin his ministry. As soon as he got word that, "There's a crazy man preaching in the Jordan", he began his ministry, fulfilling everything John declared.
The church collectively is one man___one body made up of many members. As the scripture's teach, we will end in unity that it might be fulfilled that which is written in the gospel of John 17:21, "That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." God is waitng on us to stand in the wilderness of our day and declare with one voice, "Jesus is coming to rule and reign on the earth as the supreme King of the universe." As surly as we declare it, he will fulfill it: "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." (Thessalonians 4:16-17). He is waiting on you!

Examine Yourself
2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Every person that calls him or herself a Christian today must examine their life and all that they are associated with. We must be a separated people, wholly given to God and His true body of believers in Christ.
No time for playing hide and seek. We must come out from among the world and be separate saith the Lord!
2Corintians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
2Co 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
What we do, who we worship , and where we are being led is important in the hour!
Listen to this short but to the point message video. Run if you must! It's that urgent! Examine yourself, whether ye be in the faith!
Jesus is Coming! Souls are dying, men are crying, won't you lead them to the Cross?

First Church of the Converted Swineherds by A.W. Tozer
That prodigal son, look at him. A certain man had two sons and one of them said unto his father, "Give me the goods that falleth to me and he divided unto them, the two of them, the boys, his living. And after a few days the boy left - the younger - and went into a far country and there he spent his substance in riotous living. And when he became hungry and had nothing to eat he went and attached himself to a swineherd and
he fed swine. And he was there in the swine-pen and he got hungry because his wages wouldn't buy enough to eat. And it was a humbling thing for a Jew to feed swine.
And one day a man appears - and here I depart from the Scriptures. One day a young man appears and this young man says to this boy who had gone away from home and was feeding swine - he had a bundle of tracts, this young feller, he was just out of Bible school - and he had been taught how to win souls in nine easy lessons.
And he goes up to this prodigal son lying among the swine and he says, "I have good news for you!" And he looks up and says, "Thank God, I need it. I need good news. What is it?" "Your father is ready to forgive you!" "Well," the boy says, "thank the Lord!" "Your father is ready to forgive you; do you believe it?" And the boy says, "Yes, I believe it." "All right now, thank God now, let's bow our heads and you thank the Lord you're saved. You believe the father forgives you. Yes, well, Amen! Now, we'll thank the dear Lord that you're saved. And now goodbye! Don't forget to witness, and sometime I'll be around again."
So this swineherder stays right there in the far country and he gets zealous and missionary and he goes out and he starts to make converts among the other swineherds and pretty soon he has them all believing that the father forgives, and they all do, and say, "I thank God the father forgives." Alright, and then they build a little tabernacle call it the First Tabernacle of the Converted Swineherds. And they all stay right there in the far country; nobody goes home. And that boy is still ragged and dirty and smelly and the people -- the respectable people of the neighborhood - when they pass by elevate their nose and hurry by. And they say, "So persecuted they the prophets which were before us. It is the result of our holy living that they are giving us the cold shoulder."
Then one day while they are singing choruses in this First Church of the Converted Swineherds in the far country a young fellow comes along and asks permission to speak and he rises and says to them, "Put away your sins, ye wicked! Put away your sins! Learn to do good; cease to do evil, be righteous and follow the Lord and do good and you'll be saved." And they pick him up and throw him out and say, "He's a legalist!" and that he 'doesn't believe in grace.' "Why, we're saved by accepting the doctrine." But this young fellow wanders off and time goes on and the fatted calf gets old and dies and the father passes away and the boy stays on in the far country.
Now that's evangelism as it is preached a good deal today in America! It is, "Believe on Christ. Accept Christ and stay where you are!" Now that is excused and explained by a hundred different learned ways but it leaves the sinner in his sins! And the man in his sins will be damned as certainly as the sun rises in the east and goes down in the west!

Who are you trying to please?
The Believer in Christ doesn't have a problem with the Word of God being rejected when he preaches the the Truth in love.
The Believer in Jesus Christ isn't called to try please everybody.
The Believer in Christ Jesus isn't like a politician trying to get everyone's vote.
Jesus said: "They hated Me first, they will hate you if you tell them the Truth."
I must please God!!! The Only God!!! Jesus Christ the Lord!!
Every knee shall bow...every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
That's what God's Word says: "God has called the Church, His Body to preach it without fear or reservation."
If we truly love the lost of this world we cannot compromise our walk or our message of Jesus Christ.
Jesus said: If I be lifted up I will draw all men unto Me.
Jesus said: If you love Me you will keep my commandments.
May we as Believers in Christ Jesus love in Truth.
Keep your relationship with Christ through prayer, study and meditation of His Word, and don't stay out of your local Church Body that God tells you in His Word not to forsake!
Now thanks be unto God, which causes us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place. 2 Corinthians 2:14
Hallelujah to Jesus Christ Holy Name!

You have received mercy.
2Corinthians 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
The very idea of giving up!
You have been given a ministry from Jesus Christ when He raised you from the dead! Get up! Don't you lay down! Greater is He that is in you! Nothing is impossible with God! Nothing is impossible to him that believes in God!
You've caught mercy! Don't fumble it! Your family is depending on you. People all around you await to hear the mercy that God has shown you.
Luke 7:36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.
Luke 7:37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
Luke 7:38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
Luke 7:39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
Luke 7:40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.
Luke 7:41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
Luke 7:42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
Luke 7:43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
Luke 7:44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
Luke 7:45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
Luke 7:46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
Luke 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
Luk 7:48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.
We are like those that owed the debt, it was more than either could pay! Their master chose to forgive them both! They received mercy! Just like those of us who have repented of our sin and have believed in Christs' work on the cross for our salvation!
Mercy! Something that we can never earn or deserve!
Just as the two debtors, we owed a price, our life! But God, who in his great mercy, loved us and gave His Son! To die for your sin and my sin! I must realize that it was my sin, that nailed Jesus to that cross!
But thanks be unto God! I have received mercy!! I may feel low at times but Jesus is My glory and the lifter of my head!
I will look unto the hills from where my help comes, my help cometh from the Lord who made heaven and earth!
The woman that came into Simon the Pharisee's house where Jesus was asked to come and eat, she came weeping behind Him and washed His feet with her tears, she dried His feet with the hairs of her head, and then she took the precious ointment from the alabaster box and anointed the feet of Jesus!
1Corinthians 11:15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
This woman was willing to lay down at the feet of Jesus what was to her in her day, her glory! What was her covering she used to receive His covering!
"She received mercy!"
4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
Once we have received mercy, the love of God that is shed abroad in our hearts, it causes us to walk in the light as He is in the light!
We've received a ministry of mercy!!!! We have a gospel to preach!
4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
You can't allow yourself to become complacent in this hour! Souls are dying! And you have received this ministry!
4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
No longer do you belong to yourself, you've been bought with a price! Therefore, glorify God in your spirit and your body which belong to God!
4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Is wasn't you that initiated your mercy, it was God!
He commanded the light to shine through the darkness that you were in!
He caused His marvelous light to come to you while you sat in darkness, helpless and hopeless!
Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
I weep as I think of the great mercy that God has given to me.
Eph 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
5:17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
I've received a ministry of mercy! I can't sleep spiritually in this hour! I've received mercy! Something that I never deserved but yet God in His great love has given me mercy!
I must walk circumspectly (like a person who has received mercy) and not as a fool( a person who says in his heart that there is no God). I used to walk that way, but I've received mercy!!!!!I don't have to walk and act like a fool!! I've received mercy!!! Hallelujah!
I don't want to be under the influence of no drug, no alcohol, not anything other than being filled with His Spirit!!!
I don't need no American Idol! I don't need to spend my attention on the latest reality show! I've received mercy!!!!
I want the Only True God, Jesus Christ who said He would walk in me and live in me! He said He would be my God and all that I would ever need!
Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
I've received mercy!!!! I know I'm risen with Christ! I want to seek those things above where Christ sits at the right hand of God!
I'm dead! My life is hid with Christ in God!
Christ is my life!! When Christ, who is our lfe, shall appear, then shall we also appear with Him in glory!!! That's mercy!!!
I got it! You can have it too! Thank God He gave it in Christ!
To sum it all up. You can't give up, you can't even think about quitting a ministry that God has given to you before the foundation of the world!
You have received mercy. "Walk like it".
The very idea of giving up!
You have been given a ministry from Jesus Christ when He raised you from the dead! Get up! Don't you lay down! Greater is He that is in you! Nothing is impossible with God! Nothing is impossible to him that believes in God!

Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
We are His' workmanship.
5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Looking With Eyes Closed
Jesus could appear today to those who are looking for Him!
"Are you looking for Him?"
Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Jesus will appear to only those that are looking and expecting Him to appear at any moment! Those awake and looking!
1 Timothy 6:13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
1 Timothy 6:14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
1 Timothy 6:15Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
1 Timothy 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
We have been given a charge from Christ to live soberly and righteously in this present evil world!
Looking with our eyes until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ!
2Timothy 1:8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
2Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
2Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
We are not ashamed of the testimony of our Lord!
2Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Do you love His appearing?
Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Titus 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 2:15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Let no man despise the for keeping yourself pure and walking before the Lord with His purpose being fulfilled in you. Keep your eyes open and on Jesus!
He shall appear to those looking for Him!
Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Colossians 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Colossians 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Jesus has raised us up with Him!
Our affection must be set upon Him!
Our life is hid with Christ in God!
"When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall we also appear with Him in glory!"
That's the rapture of the Church! The Church that is awake and looking for Jesus to appear!
1Peter 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
Jesus shall appear!
1John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
Every person that is a true believer in Christ will live godly and will be looking for Him to appear at any moment!
1John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
The believer looking for Jesus to appear will abide in Christ!
Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
When Christ comes back to the earth there will be mourning because of the people aren't prepared because they wern't looking for Him!
Zechariah 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
Zechariah 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Zechariah 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Zechariah 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Zechariah 14:5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
Jesus will come back to this earth with His Church at the second coming!
Matthew 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
Matthew 25:2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
Matthew 25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
Matthew 25:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
Matthew 25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
Matthew 25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
Matthew 25:7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
Matthew 25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
Matthew 25:9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
Matthew 25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
Matthew 25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
Matthew 25:12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
All ten were virgins, they all slumbered and slept!
But at midnight a cry was made! Behold the Bridegroom cometh! Go ye out to meet him!
Five were wise and five were foolish.
They all had lamps but only the wise had a reserve supply that would be enough for them to be able to last until the Bridegroom would appear!
The five foolish virgins had no oil for their lamp had gone out!
"They were looking without a supply of oil!"
They lost out because they weren't ready when the Bridegroom appeared!
"Verily, I say unto you, I know you not!"
"Are you looking for Him?"
Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

The Dove
The Dove
Gen 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Gen 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
Gen 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
Gen 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
To find grace in the eyes of the Lord is a marvelous thing!
God had respect unto Abel and to his offering. (Genesis 4:4)
But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. (Genesis 4:5)
Gen 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
Gen 4:2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
They both were taught God's way by their father Adam, who tragically had to learn the hard way because of his disobedience to God.
Cain represents the first Adam who is earthy.
But Abel represents the second Adam who is of Heaven. (Jesus)
The first Adam has nothing to do with God! He is flesh!
But the second Adam has everthing to do with God! He is Spirit!
The Flesh and the Spirit are contrary to one another.
• Summarize Cain and Abel and events leading up to Noah finding grace in the eyes of the Lord.
• By grace ye are saved!
Genesis 8:11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
Genesis 8:12 And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.
Noah and his family was in the Ark. A type of being in Jesus Christ! God instructed Noah to send forth a dove . That Dove is a type of the Holy Spirit that goes forth to guide in Truth!
Noah waited seven more days. Tarry ye!
Noah was instructed to sent forth the dove; which returned not again.
The Dove kept going forth, searching for Truth!
For from when Noah sent the Dove out of the Ark, it searched for the Truth. It continued to look throughout history for Truth in this world but couldn't find it.
The Dove Moved On!
H7363 râchaph raw-khaf'
A primitive root; to brood; by implication to be relaxed: - flutter, move, shake.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Genesis 4:26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.
The Dove moved on!
• The Dove said: "I know you've been saved Noah, but I've got to move on in search for the Truth!
• Genesis 9:1 God blessed Noah and gave him a visible sign with the rain bow but the Dove moved on in search of the Truth!
Gen 10:8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
Gen 10:9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.
"Now matter how mighty the man, the Dove moves on in search of the Truth!"
Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord 2Ch 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
We quote every word of this scripture most of the time except the last few words, "thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars."
God is looking for Truth if the Dove doesn't find Truth, the Dove moves on!
Noah was saved, God remembered Noah
Noah sent the Dove forth.
The Dove searched for Truth.
From Noah and throughout the Old Testament the Dove searched for the Truth.
God was seeking a man among them but found none.
Ezekiel 22:30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
Ezekiel 22:31 Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.
The Dove saw that man in his best state is evil!
Psalm 39:5 Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.
The Dove moved on!
"Abraham rejoiced to see my day!"
John 8:51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
John 8:52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
John 8:53 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?
John 8:54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
John 8:55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
John 8:57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
John 8:59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
John 1:30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
John 1:31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
John 1:32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
John 1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
John 1:34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
For several thousand years that Dove search for Truth but couldn't find it in a man. "It seems as though Truth had fallen into the streets!"
But wait a minute! There's a man named John, he's crying out!
"Behold the Lamb of God!"
That taketh away the sin of the world!
The Dove that left Noah at the Ark had search and found the Truth!
The Dove descended upon Jesus and remain upon Him!
John said: "I saw and I bare record that is is the Son of God"
The Dove had finally found Truth!
Jesus said: "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life!"
No man, (nobody) comes to the Father but by me!
The Dove (Holy Spirit) will testify of Jesus!
The Dove is in Christ Jesus! Are you?
John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
John 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
John 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
John 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
John 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
John 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
John 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
John 16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Acts 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
“We don’t need to know such as the Father has put into His own power.”
If we will allow the Dove, the Holy Ghost come upon us, we will be guided by Jesus Christ!
The Dove won’t have to search any more for Truth!
He shall be with you and shall in you forever, even unto the end.

John 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
John 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
John 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

Are You Desperate Enough to Believe Christ Never Fails
This leader of a religious assembly of his day had been brought to the end of himself! His position, his status, nor his ability was able to give him hope!
Read the words: " and when he saw Him (Jesus), he fell at His feet.
Mark 5:22 And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,
As long as we have the slightest possiblility of being able to handle the situation we are in, we will continue to try everything we know to do.
People who are desperate are brought to a humbling place where they aren't intimidated by those around them. They are fearful of no man! They regard not their own lives! They are transported out of the many voices and things that get their attention so easily!
"God allows us to be placed in such situations of desperation with the desire to bring us to a surrendered trust to Him!"
What you are faced with right now isn't a happenstance, it has been allowed to come upon you for a purpose.
It may well have been brought on by your own doing, or by someone else but you can be sure that God knows all about every detail of the cause and why is has come!
"God is working in the hearts of multiple millions of people in this very hour!"
Every person will respond in one of two ways: Either their hearts will be humbled in their time of desperation and look to Christ. Or either they will reject Christ and be hardened in their hearts to the purposes of God!
Mark 5:23 And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
Jairus was humbled, the Bible says that he besought Jesus greatly!
No longer was his response to Jesus passive! It was with great intense feeling that he besought Jesus!
"When we are truly humbled before God , our feeling toward Jesus doesn't remain passive."
In his hour of confusion, Jairus has the ear of Jesus!
His desperation has brought him to the place of total surrender to the source of his need. He doesn't yet have the manifestation of God's supply but he has totally disregarded himself from getting in the way of Christ coming and putting His hands on his daughter!
Oh! Today if we would learn what God is saying to us. If we are just willing to lay our life down and let the life of Christ live in us!
Mark 5:24 And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.
And Jesus went with him.
If we will get right in our approach to God, Jesus will go with us!
It doesn't matter the greatest of the trouble that you may find yourself in today, Jesus will always respond to a heart that is contrite and when our spirit is broken to do God's will!
No sickness, no disease, no trouble that can pile upon you so high that Christ cannot get to the root of the problem and bring you the answer!
If He's going with you, you must believe!
"Sometimes your need is slow to come, don't lose heart, Jesus is still there!"
Mark 5:25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
For twelve years Jairus' daughter has been the joy of his life. But for a nameless woman in the Bible that is referred to as "a certain woman", for her the same twelve years that has been joy for Jarius, has been years of pain, years of hope in a cure only to be brought to a place of total hopelessness.
The same years bring different circumstances to these people but their time and circumstances are about to meet! Jairus is facing his greatest fear, his daughter is about to die! But on the day his daughter was born, for this certain woman death began to take it's grip upon her. From the day that little girl came into Jairus and his wife lives to be such joy and love, the certain woman's life became hell on earth! Years of sorrow and shattered hopes of getting better was all she had to look for.
"No matter if you are just entering into your trouble or whether you have been battling for years, Christ is a very present help in the time of trouble!"
Mark 5:26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
There are people today that have refused to go back and receive treatment for a medical problem because of the pain was so severe and unbearable.
The Bible says the certain woman suffered (allowed) many things of many physicians! Oh, what things we will allow to be done to us if we think it will work. These things that she allowed cost her everything that she had! And the tragedy of it all was that nothing helped her but rather she became more close to death!
Mark 5:27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
"It's an amazing thing that nobody ever told her about Jesus!"
She was told about all kinds of remedies for her problem.
She was told of every doctor that could treat her problem.
She was given a cost analysis and an itemized bill for her problem.
She suffered many things of many physicians.
"But from the beginning of her sickness to the end there wasn't a word mentioned to her to seek the Lord!"
But thank God it's never to late to tell somebody about the Lord and His delivering power!
But when she heard of Jesus! But when she heard of Jesus! She came, sickness in all, behind the crowd of people and pressed her way into the crowd and touched Jesus!
Mark 5:28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
She said if I may but touch His clothes, I shall be made whole! If I may touch even His clothes, they are righteousness, they are purity, they are healing in His wings!
Mark 5:29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
Her sickness had held her in it's constant and sure grip but immediately, she was healed and delivered!
Mark 5:30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
The certain woman had touched Jesus' clothes by faith and believing!
Mark 5:31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
Out of all the people and the clamour of the day, a certain woman touches Jesus! One woman desperate enough to believe that Christ never fails!
Mark 5:32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
Virtue (power)had been drawn out of Jesus by this desperate woman! Jesus looks around to see her that touched Him!
Mark 5:33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
Fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, she came and fell down before Jesus and told Him all the truth.
She knew what was done! She knew it was the Lord's doing!
All the years of searching for help and deliverance was in the past! She had heard of Jesus! She had touched Jesus! She told Him all the truth! She said to Jesus: "I have trusted in man's ability for twelve years but today I trust you, Lord!"
Mark 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
Jesus said: "Thy faith has made you whole, go in peace and stay healed of this sickness!"
Mark 5:35 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
"The Devil will always try to put a damper on a testimony service that is giving God the glory."
Mark 5:36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
When we are truly humbled before the Lord, He will help us believe Him.
Jesus says to you today that have been humbled before Him by circumstances, "Be not afraid, only believe!"
Mark 5:37 And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
Jesus continues to follow a humbled Jairus.
Mark 5:38 And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
Jesus will go all the way to your house when you have been humbled before Him!
Mar 5:39 And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
Death to Jesus is like sleep, He can wake them up!
Mark 5:40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
Religious actors can quickly become scorners and scoffers!
Jesus puts the pretenders and proud out of His presence! He will again one day put the pretenders and the proud out of His presence! Are you a pretender? Are you proud of yourself? Jesus will put you out if you are!
Mark 5:41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.
"He takes Jairus' daughter by the hand and speaks a command for her to arise!"
Mark 5:42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
Immediately the daughter arises just like Jesus said!
That death that hold us is like sleep to Jesus! It's is real and makes us desperate!
But are we desperate enough to believe Christ never fails?
Mark 5:43 And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.
Why did Jesus tell them to tell no man?
Why should they have to tell anybody? Their daughter is not dead!
She's alive! Give her something to eat! She's a living, growing daughter!
"Why should we as Christians have to tell anybody when Christ Jesus is living in us!"
Our life should speak loudly that Christ is living in us!
We must be desperate enough to believe Christ never fails!
Hear this today! Jesus is alive! He will come to you in your time of desperation if you will come to Him.
He can be touched by a single person in a great crowd of people that aren't desiring to really touch Him!
Touch Christ today by faith, He will touch you and make you whole! A-men!
Read the words: " and when he saw Him (Jesus), he fell at His feet.
Mark 5:22 And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,

Perilous Times Requires Courageous Preachers
The Apostle Paul gave a charge toTimothy, the first bishop of the church of the Ephesians.
2 Timothy 2:1-4 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
"Be faithful to God, be strong in the grace of God!" Commit what you've learned to faithful men that will be able to teach others. "Endure hardness, as a good soldier!" Fight the good fight of faith! Contend for the faith that was once delivered unto the saints! Don't waver, don't compromise the Word of God for anything or anybody! "Be faithful to God!" Don't be mixed up with the world and try to be a soldier of the Cross of Christ!
2Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
We are living in the last days! Perilous times are upon us! Self rules!
LOVERS OF THEIR OWN SELVES!
2Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Those that make up their minds that they are going to live according to Gods Word will suffer a great onslaught of persecution. The world will hate you if you follow the Lord with your whole heart. But remember, God will be with you!
"This world only wants a form of religion rather than the power of God."
Perilous times requires fearless preachers that know that "all scripture is given by inspiration of God!"
The Word is profitable for doctrine.for evidence that will correct those off course!
The Word is profitable for instruction in right living!
"Preacher, you must to determined to preach this Word of God without any compromise!"
You will be hated, but you will be pleasing God and His kingdom will advance forward in these perilous last days!
2Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
"I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ!"
Preach the Word! Preach the Word!
Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might! Be instant in season, out of season!
Be ready always to give an answer to any one that ask you of the hope that is within you with meekness and fear!
For the time will come when they will heap to themselves teachers to themselves, having itching ears! Churches are full of people and leaders who are like this!
They shall turn their ears away from the truth! But continue in the things which you have learned!
"But you watch, be sober, don't allow yourself to be overcharged with the things of this world!"
Endure afflictions! Be determined that you will be faithful to proclaim Gods Word!
Do the work of an evangelist.
Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel!
Don't try be politically correct, just preach the Word!
Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Faithful servants of the Lord Jesus Christ will preach the scripture from Romans without fear or reservation in these last days!
These sins in the above verses of the Bible from the book of Romans will damn souls to hell.
They aren't alternate lifestyles!!! They are sins that if not repented of will send the individuals into everlasting punishment!
A person may say they have the right to live as they please and God gives everybody a free will to do as they please
. If you practice the sins of Romans chapter 1 you will die lost and then spend eternity in literal burning hell.
But the good news is that God so loved you while you were in your sin that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the Cross that you could be delivered and saved!
There's no other name given among men whereby we must be saved!
Jesus Christ is the ONLY WAY!
All other religions other than the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost who is the GOD OF THE BIBLE will have to bowed the knee to Christ and every tongue will confess that He is Lord to the glory of the Father or they will be separated from God forever.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
We are living in the last days! Perilous times are upon us! Self rules!
LOVERS OF THEIR OWN SELVES!
Out of control desires.
2Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

"CHURCH! COME BACK!"
Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
"Church, we must come back to looking unto Jesus!"
Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
Jesus went out, and departed from the temple. Verse one of Matthew 24 shows us a picture of where He is today, as far as the temple.
"Jesus has departed from very much of what calls itself the church today!" Why?
Because it has compromised God's Word so as to lower the bar so low today that there is no striving to be all that which Christ said that we would be as His Church! God's True Gospel will challenge a person to change from a fleshly minded person to a "New Creation in Christ" by the Holy Spirit!" Lift of the Standard! Gods Word is the Standard!
Jesus is the Standard! Jesus said to sinner woman, neither do I condemn thee, go and sin no more.
Jesus is the Standard! Jesus said to the man that he healed. John 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
5:15 The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.
The Church has been influenced by the world rather than the Church by a commitment to strive to be more like Christ, it has no restraining effect on the world. It's powerless in its worldly methods and therefore has no ability to see miraculous salvation to come to the hearts of the unbeliever!
Jesus said:
Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
13:26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
That seeker-friendly crowd is going to find itself outside of a door shut that no man can open!
Ever seeking but never finding because there's no striving to be more like Jesus!
It would rather identify with the world than be conformed to the image of Christ!
G75 agōnizomai ag-o-nid'-zom-ahee
From G73; to struggle, literally (to compete for a prize), figuratively (to contend with an adversary), or generally (to endeavor to accomplish something): - fight, labor fervently, strive.
Hebrews 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
11:15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
"Strive to enter in!"
Hebrews 11:23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.
11:24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
11:26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
"Strive to enter in!"
To struggle for the prize, to contend with the adversary!
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:1-2
G75 agōnizomai ag-o-nid'-zom-ahee
From G73; to struggle, literally (to compete for a prize), figuratively (to contend with an adversary), or generally (to endeavor to accomplish something): - fight, labor fervently, strive.
This word strive means to agonizes over!
Strive to enter in! Don't be denied by that which opposes you!
Remember, as we strive to enter in, JESUS said that He would be with us as we desire to follow His commandments.
Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Rom 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
1Corianthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
Yes! There is love and mercy in Christ today, but as His Church we are commanded that we: "Love not the world, neither the things of the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 John 2:15
Jesus went out and departed out of the temple and His disciples showed Him the buildings of the temple.
1Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
"The Disciples showed Jesus the buildings of the temple."
Jesus wasn't impressed or excited about the buildings of the temple!
Jesus isn't impressed by the buildings of the temple!
Jesus is never impressed by what man is building. He is impressed by what He is building! (Upon this rock, I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it!)
Jesus isn't concerned by the buildings of the temple. He's concerned with the temple of the "Living God!"
In Matthew 24, Jesus went out and departed from the things that were made with man's hands.
He will go out and depart from His temple today that continues to build with fleshly, worldly attractions.
"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
We are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses!
Let us lay aside, put off the old nature!
Lay aside every weight!
Lay aside the sin of compromise of what Gods Word teaches us as Believers!
Repent of the compromise and purpose in your heart that you will run with patience the race that is set before you!
God’s peace shall rule your heart!
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
14:25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Joh 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
If I love God, I will keep Gods Word!
If a man love Me, Jesus said, he will keep My words.
If a man that loves Me and keeps My word because he loves Me, My Father will love him and Jesus and the Father will come and live with him!
A man that doesn't love Jesus will not keep His word!
A man that doesn't keep Gods word will not have Jesus and the Father living with him!
No Comforter will come to the man that doesn't love Jesus!
No man will be taught of God that doesn't love God!
He will not remember what things God has taught because he doesn't love God and God doesn't teach the unsaved to be religious. They learned all of that on their own!
But thank God! A man can know God by loving God, by keeping Gods word, and being a doer of the Word!
That man’s heart won't be troubled in these last days. That man will have the peace that Jesus said: "I give unto you!"
That man has a hold of Gods word and will never be afraid!
1Jn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Come back to prayer to God!
Come back to God’s Word!
Come back to doing God’s Word!
Come back to where you are willing to forsake all for Christ Jesus!
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Church, come back to “Looking unto Jesus!”

What's Happened to the Backbone of the Church?
Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
Job 13:16 He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
Where are the fruits of a life changed by the Power of God!
Once ago, when a person came to Christ, he or she came being drawn by the Holy Spirit conviction of their sin! A fearful and reverence toward a Holy God that had gracefully given them the ability to come to God and repent and ask God for forgiveness!
And then, after being saved, they immediately followed Jesus in the Way!
They didn't come to God with the motive of: "what will I get out of this." No, they came up out of that altar like Isaiah did, "Woe is me! I'm a man of unclean lips! I live in the middle of a bunch of the same kind! Isaiah had truly seen the Lord! A Lord high and lifted up! A Lord whose glory filled the temple! An awsome God that he fell before at His mercy! Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. Isaiah6:6-7
Isaiah didn't jump around an altar and make a lot of noise to only later go back to his daily routine! No! A live coal from off the altar had touched his lips!
It's was more than a loud song, and a high energy service!
Isaiah saw God!
Isaiah was changed!
Where's the fruit of the life changed by the Power of God?
Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
The fruit of this changed life was that it immediately was willing to live for God! No matter what was asked of one to do! That life had been bought with a price! No longer was his life his own!
A far cry from what we've made it to be today in the church. As long as we can convince people that they can be blessed and belong and still be doing the same as they were, they will keep coming and they will give to your ministry.
But where are the individuals today that have truly been changed by the Power of God! Who echo the words of Job, "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him." Job 13:15
I remember listening to a message preached by Charles Greenaway. He an his wife Mary, were missionaries to Africa and many other countries in the last century. He and his wife went home to be with the Lord in the late 1990's. He preached about three miles from Jackson' Gap in Dadeville, Alabama in a tent revival around 1988. Shortly after so much had taken place in the Church. I remember listening to a true changed life that had a history that included many hardships but yet the fruit remained! That fruit was a faithfulness that said to God__ "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him!"
"What's Happened to the Backbone of the Church?"
The message that I listened to was called , "Doubts and How to Deal With Them". It was on cassette tape and I remember listening with awe at the faithfulness of God to a person that God had changed and had given a message and purpose to reach the lost as an evangelist and a missionary. Near the end of his message, which was challenging and inspiring, he gave a personal testimony of he and Mary's struggle to believe God for the healing of their first child, a son who was dying. The child had to have regular blood transfusions to stay alive. During this time, they were still faithful to God, preaching in churches, staying in homes of the different churches that sometimes would be annoyed by the crying of their son. Being hurt by remarks like, "Why can't they keep that boy quiet so we can get some sleep!"
People can be so insensitive when others are in their darkest valley.
He said many times he knew that the only thing that was keeping his son alive was the prayers of his wife , Mary, she couldn't let him go! "Where are the fruits of a life changed by the Power of God today!"
"What's happened to the Backbone of the Church?"
They were just starting out in the ministry for God, they weren't promised what is being promised today, but they're lives had been changed by the Power of God! They were faithful to God!
You may be facing many things right now that are against you but God no where in His word did He say that you wouldn't face these things. But He did say, "I'll never leave nor forsake you!"
"What's happened to the Backbone of the Church?"
Charles and Mary Greenaway were at their lowest place in their lives, their son was dying, they had doctor bills they couldn't pay, he had a letter from the finance company notifying him that his car was being repossessed. As he was driving his car to the finance company, he had two flat tires. The first person that passed him was his district superiententant, who turned and looked the other way. He said: "I tried to chuck it off! I tried to say : You can make it, just hang in there!" Standing all alone that day with all that was allowed to come upon him, weeping, looking up toward heaven. He said he didn't know how he got the last tire changed! He was brought as low a person could be brought!
Later, when he got home, their son was barely alive and Charles, weeping, told Mary: "Mary let him go, let God have him, just let him go."
He said he didn't know why, except that his wife was so tired that she let him go and the child died in her arms.
Charles said he went outside and looked up into that sky that night, and said to the Lord: "Lord I will serve You, whatever you want me to do, where ever You want me to go, I love You Lord and I will serve You!
"What's happened to the Backbone of the Church?"
He said that was a turning point in their lives and God was faithfully with them as they reached people with the gospel, Why? Because of a changed life by the Power of God!
"We must come back to the Word of God!"
Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
Job 13:16 He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
Job said: "He shall be my salvation!"
A hypocrite shall not come before Him!
"What's happened to the Backbone of the Church?"
Has your life really been changed by the Power of God?
If so, take a look at where you are today.
Are you being perfected as God said He would do to His Church?
As His children we belong to Him, we are to love and serve Him faithfully because He loved us first!
We are to be the salt of the earth! A city set upon a hill that the lost souls may see and come to the light that is in Christ Jesus!
All the souls that were saved through this missionary couple, one day will sat in the Kingdom of God, why? because they were trusted enough for God to use. He looked and found a couple that were weak enough for Him to use, and use them He did for His' glory!
Are you weak enough for God to use you?
If you are and you have truly been changed by the Power of God, you will have a life of faithfulness to God in everything you encounter. If you fall, you'll have a repentant heart and continue on to follow and know the Lord. You will have a Backbone that will give you strength to stand in the Lord and the Power of His Might!
Call on Jesus today! Let Him change your life by the Power of God!
Job 13:16 He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
Where are the fruits of a life changed by the Power of God!
